Interested candidates should obtain the aptitude test / Post UTME screening form through the channels published by the college for the current admission cycle.
Upon successful admission, candidates will be required to pay an acceptance fee of Thirty Thousand Naira (₦30,000) as directed by the Bursary Department.
All payments should be made to the official college account listed below. Retain your teller or payment receipt for verification during registration.
When online aptitude registration is open, candidates may also complete application and upload credentials through the college portal.

Eligibility to purchase the form(s)
- Candidates must have chosen Cross River State College of Nursing Sciences, Itigidi (CONSIT) as their first choice institution in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
- Candidates must have obtained a minimum UTME score of 150 and above in the relevant subjects for their chosen nursing programme.
- Applicants must meet the O'Level subject requirements for ND or HND Nursing as applicable.
Requirements to obtain form(s)
- Minimum of five (5) credits in SSCE/NECO/GCE O'Level or equivalent, obtained in not more than two sittings.
- Credits must include English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
- Candidates with awaiting results may apply but must present certified copies of their credentials before admission is confirmed.
- A recent passport photograph, valid NIN, and contact details are required when completing the online application.
- Payment receipts and supporting documents must be uploaded where online registration is used.
NABTEB stands alone and cannot be combined with other results.

Date for screening exercise
Shortlisted candidates will be invited for the aptitude test / Post UTME screening exercise comprising Computer Based Test (CBT) and completion of oral assessment forms.

Format
CBT & oral forms
- Candidates must appear with original and photocopies of all credentials, birth certificate, and local government identification.
- The college will communicate specific venue, time, and reporting instructions to shortlisted applicants via email and the official website.
- Approved candidates receive an admission slip and further registration guidance from the Registrar's office.
Transfer of students
- Transfer of students between training schools is subject to Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) regulations and college policy.
- A student wishing to transfer into CONSIT must obtain official release from the training school currently attended.
- Transfer requests are considered only where there is vacancy, satisfactory academic standing, and compliance with NMCN documentation requirements.
Medical examination / certificate of fitness
- All admitted students must undergo a mandatory medical examination at a recognised government hospital before resumption.
- A certificate of medical fitness must be submitted to the college during registration. Students without a valid fitness certificate will not be matriculated.
