Student Union Government

The official representative body of the CONSIT student community — linking students and College Management in line with Quality Education for Quality Service.

The Student Union Government (SUG) of Cross River State College of Nursing Sciences, Itigidi (CONSIT) is the official representative body of the student community. It serves as a vital link between students and the College Management, promoting effective communication, collaboration, and active student participation in the governance and development of the institution.

The SUG is committed to protecting the interests and welfare of students while fostering an environment that encourages academic excellence, leadership, professionalism, unity, and responsible citizenship. Through its elected executive officers and representatives, the Union works closely with the College Management to address students' concerns, organize educational and social programmes, promote community service, and support initiatives that enrich campus life.

In line with the values of the nursing profession, the Student Union Government promotes discipline, ethical conduct, mutual respect, teamwork, and volunteerism. It also provides students with opportunities to develop leadership, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills that prepare them for successful professional careers beyond graduation. The College recognizes the Student Union Government as an important partner in advancing its vision of training knowledgeable and skillful nurses and creating a vibrant academic community where every student can thrive.
